Vietnam Vet to Victory in Jesus

Steve Sanford (right) was childhood friends of the Mangun's and Tenney's in Alexandria Louisiana. He left for the Vietnam War and ended up running from God for over 40 years.

God orchestrated a meeting a few days ago with Jeremy Case, a young minister from the Dexter Pentecostal Church in Tylertown MS.

Steve was hungry for God and the door opened for a Water & Spirit Bible Study on Saturday night. At the conclusion of the Bible Study Steve said he wanted to be baptized the next day, Sunday night.

Steve came to church Sunday night and the Holy Ghost just fell during the worship with people shouting and dancing and praising God. Initially Steve stayed in his seat as the power of God came on him.

Finally Steve arose to come to the altar where everyone was praising God, only he didn't make it all the way there before God filled him with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues!

Steve was then baptized in Jesus Name for the remission of sins and when he came up out of the water the Spirit hit him in a powerful way again as the glory of God swept over him once more.

Praise Jesus for His goodness and mercy for keeping Steve all these years until he could be Born Again of the Water and Spirit!
